Roast beef With sage And Some marjoram

This is an excerpt from The Prince of Transylvania's Court Cookbook

Roast beef with sage and some marjoram. Wash the roast beef, put it on a skewer and put it on the fire until it's hard. Then add it to the sage or marjoram. When it's cooking, add some wine or the beef's water so that the grasses' essence will grab the meat. Add proper amounts of water, else the herbs won't be noticeable.
