Morterous for Lentyn. Recipe brothe of congure or of merlyng, sothen of cuper of kongur or of codlynge, & graty þam in a morter with grated brede; & alay it vp with þe brothe til it be standing; & put it in a pot with peper & saferon & boyl þam a litil, & dresse þam, & do þeron powdyr of gynger & serof it forth.
