To make conserue of Barberies.. TAke your Barberies and picke them cleane, and set the[n] ouer a soft fire, and put to them Rosewater as much as you thinke good, then when you thinke it be sodde enough, straine that, and then séeth it againe, and to euery pound of Barberies, one pound of suger, and meat your conserue.
