To make ieleye. For a gelte [approx. 2.6 litres] of wine, take grains of paradise, ginger, each half an ounce. Mace, cloves together half an ounce. Nutmegs the eighth part of an ounce. Saffron a quarter of an ounce. A waelpuyt [pint] of verjuice and a little isinglass with which one may make the binding just like other jellies.
