One makes ieleye outside fasting-time thus. Then one takes broth of young pigs' meat and boils it also with spices. Then one takes small pieces of pork that is rather young, from roasting pork or from schoudelingen or roasting pigs and cut this all small in pieces just as one would do with chickens in broth, so small as they should be cut. If you want it very good, so lay therein young rabbits or thighs of capons or hens and not fried, and one lays boiled meats therein.
