Caponys in concys schal be sodyn. Nym þe lyre & brek it smal in a morter, & peper & wyte bred þerwyþ, & temper it wyþ ale, & ley it wyþ þe capoun. Nym hard sodyn eyryn & hew þe wyte smal, & keste þereto, & nym þe olkys al hole & do hem in a dysch; & boyle þe capoun & colowre it wyþ safroun, & salt it, & messe it forþe.
