To bake Crane or Bustard. First take him and perboyle him a little, and then take sweet Lard and Lard him withall, then put it into the Coffin, and take Pepper and salt, and season them togither and cast it upon it, and take butter, and put it into the Coffin, and so let it bake the space of foure houres, and serve them forth.
