Introduction
This entry is a re-creation of a recipe from Ein Buch von guter spise (Germany, ca. 1345 - Alia Atlas, trans.), entitled "6. Ein kluge spise (A clever food)". [insert a brief description of dish here, possibly including any or all of the following: characteristics of the final dish, when or how it might have been served, and why you selected it]

The Source Recipe
The original text of the recipe is as follows:

6. Ein kluge spise (A clever food).

This is a clever food. One should take a brain and flour and apples and eggs and mix that with spices and spread it on a roasting spit and roast (it) fine and give out. That is called roasted brains. One does the same to a lung that is boiled.
