A very simple sauce, this can be used as a substitute for modern barbecue sauce. I served it with chicken for a dinner with friends and it was well liked.

Ingredients

2/3 cup honey
4 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1/4 cup red wine

Method

Mix ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a low boil. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Serve warm.
