This cookbook is not medieval, and the main reason it is included here is that one of the book's authors runs this website. That being said, the recipes in "A Dwarven Cookbook" were modeled after those in medieval cooking, and would not seem too out-of-place to the people living in medieval Europe.
The journal of Harald Bumbleburr was discovered on the bottom shelf of a dusty, half-forgotten archive, and provides an unusual insight into attitudes and practices of food cultivation, harvesting and preparation among the Halflings.
